Works has not been on schedule and I'm trying to handle most of the project management part. As Uncle is terribly busy, he does not have the time to oversee the works and it's inevitable that he forgets some things ....
I empathize with uncle but Uncle also has to understand that all of us have a deadline to meet too. For my case, I have to shift back to my own home because I don't want to bunk in with my parents for too long ...
I had been calling him to pass the tiles to the tiler as they need to complete the works by today. As I don't want the works to be delayed further, I had to make sure the tiling, electrical works and plumbing works get completed by today so that Jason can come in to do the carpentry. I called him once during lunch time to ask if he's dropping by to pass the tiles to the tilers but he's too busy to do so. Subsequently, I have to call him at around 7plus to check if he's free. Calls were made at 8pm and then 11plus. Thereafter, I guess he must have freaked out .... haha
I wonder if I'm sometimes too persistent until Uncle ignore my calls ... haha ... but anyway, I just want to ensure things are on track :) Hope Uncle won't take it to heart as I know he has a big heart :)
As well, I'm now very hesitant to recommend more people to Uncle as I'm not sure if he has the energy and time to manage the huge influx of projects. I'll probably wait until Uncle has completed my unit before I decide again ....
