The concrete support for the lower cabinets were also up. The tilers also started to make the mould for the top part of the lower cabinet.
As for the toilet, the wall tiles are all up and Ah Di managed to get some mosaics up. Unfortunately, Uncle didn't order sufficient mosaics and wall tiles for the toilet ... seems like there's going to be some delay .....
Tried to contact Uncle several times today but he's really very very busy ... he said that he would come down to check the progress (at 11+am) ... but never really appear until 7pm to pay the tilers! He's very busy (x 1,000,000!). Told Uncle about the works and asked if the tilers can complete by Weds and he said I should be able to shift back in by Thursday. I'm really happy!
He checked the works and seemed to be ok with it. I asked about the chipped tiles and he said that they would be covered by groutings so it would not be obvious. He also told the tiler to tile the ends of the wall (behind the pipes) ... This is what I call commitment to quality :) Even small details like this he's very particular.

Hi growler! i think its a fantastic idea to use tiled racks for ur toilets! I wished i did that, so much more stable than those glass racks!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to save money and ensure that it lasts. The stainless steel cum glass type that we bought previously did not last (tarnished) and it was expensive !
