Day 14 - (18th May) Citygas pipes installation

As expected, I do not think that the painters and shower screen guy will appear in the morning. There was some unexpected twist in the morning because xvirusga76 told me that Uncle lost his keys to the van. When I called Uncle during lunch time, he sounded exasperated because he said that he had the keys with him but it suddenly disappeared ??? I think he finally found the keys because when he called me at around 2.39pm, he said he was parking his van.

Uncle called me at 2.30pm asking me for the paint numbers as he said he had misplaced them ! OMG ! Luckily I had internet access and I quickly called back to give him the numbers - Living room: ICI AL25903 (Rose White) and Master bedroom: ICI WW21312L (Silver Blue). He "confirmed" again that the painters will come tomorrow. Not sure if they can finish in time within 1 day ... cuz he said they have to move on to another unit on Weds ! I also asked him about Ah Hock whom he said will try to ask him to come down today for installation ... and the rubbish chute should be installed by today ...

In the afternoon, the Citygas contractor came to install the pipes for my HDB gas. He called to inform me that the hole for the pipe was too small and the plumbers never give any allownace for him. As a result, he has to drill another hole near the big sewage pipe so that the copper pipes can go through ... This is a reminder ... maybe it's better to do your gas piping first before the plumbers get called in .... I must remember the correct sequence next time (IF I ever do renovation in the future) ....

Later in the afternoon, I got the contact of Ah Hock and gave him a call. To my surprise, he was very shocked that I called him because he don't recognise my unit number. I know that Uncle forgot to tell Ah Hock to come to my unit to install the shower screen afterall ... Luckily Ah Hock said that he will arrange to come down unit soon (I think either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow)...
